At our Institution, we organize educational activities (courses, seminars, masters, proctoring activities, national and international congresses) for various professional figures such as surgeons, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and others. The objects of our educational projects m include:
- MICS (Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery), with particular interest in ministernotomy, minitoracotmy and transaxillary accesses for aortic and mitral and tricuspid valve surgery
- Minimally Invasive Extracorporeal Circulation (MiECC) in closed and open-heart interventions (CABG, AVR and proximal aortic aneuryms surgery)
- Rapid Deployment Aortic Valve Prosthesis for aortic valve replacement
- Enhanced Recovery after Cardiac Surgery (ERAS) contemplating protocols for Ultra-Fast Track Anesthesia, MiECC, pain control, early physical therapy,
- Transcatheter aortic valve implantation with self- and balloon-expandable valves
- Hybrid arch surgery with frozen elephant trunk without circulatory arrest
