Giuseppe Tarantini, who graduated cum laude in Medicine and Surgery in Parma and specialized with top honors in Cardiovascular Diseases in Padua, is Full Professor and Director of the Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Unit at the University Hospital of Padua. An internationally recognized expert in advanced percutaneous coronary and structural procedures, he is the author of over 700 scientific publications and has led numerous multicenter studies. An active member of the ESC and EAPCI, he has served as President of the Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology (GISE) and currently chairs its Foundation. He has received several awards, including the “100 Italian Excellences” prize (2018).
