Born in Rome in 1976. Medical degree at the Catholic University of Rome in July 2000. From 2001 to 2005, cardiac surgery residency at the University of Verona. From 2006 to 2009 staff surgeon at San Bortolo Hospital in Vicenza. From 2010 staff surgeon at the University Hospital of Padova. PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences, University of Padova, 2013. From 2019, associate professor of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Padova. Main interests: micro invasive cardiac surgery (TAVI, transapical beating heart mitral valve repair), surgery of the aorta, total endovascular aortic arch replacement, new technology in cardiac surgery. Author of 108 scientific articles published on international peer-reviewed journals.
