Alexander Weymann is the Head of the Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery Program and a Clinical Professor of Cardiac Surgery at Hannover Medical School in Germany. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (Dr. med.) and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Charite University Medicine Berlin and the University of Heidelberg, respectively. He received training at university hospitals in Berlin, Heidelberg, and London (UK). After completing advanced fellowships in UK and Germany, he specialized in major cardiac surgery and minimally invasive heart surgery.
